The problem: tuners are visual
Almost every tuner app is built around a visual readout - a needle, a strobe wheel, a colour change. For a blind or low-vision musician that core feedback is out of reach: you cannot see whether the needle is centred or the strobe has locked. Screen-reader labels on buttons help you operate the app, but they do not tell you whether the note is sharp or flat while you play.
What an accessible tuner needs is pitch feedback you can hear, in real time, while both hands are on the instrument.
Echo Mode: tune by ear, hands-free
StroboPro's Echo Mode (Beta) is audio-first tuning guidance. Instead of reading a display, you listen:
- StroboPro hears your note and identifies the pitch.
- It plays a guiding tone that leads your pitch toward the target.
- As you tighten or loosen the string, the guiding tone converges on your pitch; when they match, you hear it resolve.
Because the feedback is sound, you never need to look at the screen. Your hands stay on the instrument and your ears do the work, the way many musicians already tune by ear - now with a precise reference doing the listening for you.

I’m an independent developer, and I keep the core StroboPro tuner free. Premium access to features such as cloud sync, AI tuning generation, and the custom tuning editor helps cover backend infrastructure and the tools I need to keep developing and supporting StroboPro.
You can try the full version during a no-strings-attached trial. The trial never converts automatically: when it ends, premium features are simply disabled until you actively choose an affordable subscription or a one-time purchase for lifetime premium access. The one-time purchase is available on iOS and Android, like buying the app outright; web one-time purchase support is coming soon.
