Music teacher tuner
A Tuning Workflow for Music Teachers and Classrooms
StroboPro gives music teachers a practical way to prepare a tuning and share it with students. Create a standard or alternate tuning, check the notes, and let every player work from the same reference.
Open StroboPro
A simple classroom workflow
- Prepare: Choose a preset or create a custom tuning for the lesson.
- Generate: Signed-in web users can ask AI for a starting point such as “DADGAD for six-string guitar” or “a five-string bass tuning for this exercise.”
- Copy: If the instrument is already tuned to an unusual setup, use Listen to note and play each note to copy the pitches into the editor.
- Review: Confirm the note order, names, and octaves before the lesson.
- Share: Send the saved tuning to students or collaborators.
- Practice: Students open the shared tuning and tune their instruments from the same definition.

Useful for more than standard guitar
Music classes often include guitar, bass, ukulele, violin, mandolin, piano, and instruments with custom note layouts. StroboPro supports standard presets and user-defined tunings, so the teacher can prepare the actual instrument setup used in the lesson.
Teach alternate tunings with less setup
DADGAD lesson
Prepare DADGAD once, share it with the class, and spend lesson time on chord shapes and musical ideas instead of repeating the note list.
Open tuning workshop
Create open G or another slide guitar tuning, add any course-specific notes, then share the same setup with each student.
Student instruments
Use Listen to note when an instrument has an unusual tuning that is difficult to describe. The teacher can copy the pitches from the instrument and save the result for the next lesson.
Why a shared tuning helps
- Students receive the same string or note order.
- Teachers can reuse a tuning across lessons.
- Alternate and experimental tunings become easier to explain.
- Students can practice at home with the same reference used in class.
- Teachers can share a tuning without manually rewriting every note.

Frequently asked questions
Can a music teacher share a tuning with students?
